Green waste removal in Melbourne's outer east
Grass, prunings and leaves from the job, taken away so the garden is finished rather than left in a heap.
What we remove
Green waste removal is for plant material: grass clippings you've asked us to take, hedge and shrub prunings, leaves, and small branches from work we're doing. You can also ask us to collect a pile you've already made, as long as it's green waste and we can reach it.
What we don't take
Please don't mix the pile with household rubbish, soil, turf and root balls, bricks, concrete, treated pine, painted timber or other building waste. We don't handle hazardous material. If a pile is mixed, we'll quote only the green waste that can be separated, or we'll leave the job.
How to leave a pile
A heap on the driveway or just inside the gate is the easiest to load, off the footpath and clear of meters and gates. A photo with something for scale, such as a wheelie bin, makes the quote more accurate. Volume is hard to judge from a sentence.
Tip fees
Disposal is charged on top of the time to load and cart the waste. Transfer station prices change, so the tip fee is confirmed in your quote rather than listed as a flat rate here. If a job needs any materials, those are quoted the same way.
On its own, or with other work
Most removal jobs are paired with a mow, a tidy-up or a hedge trim, because that's when the waste appears. You can still ask for a collection on its own if the pile is ready and it's green waste we can take.

A few helpful details
Questions about green waste removal
Is the tip fee included in the labour price?
No. The time to load and cart the waste, and the transfer station fee, are both confirmed in the quote. You'll see them before you agree to the job.
Can I add rubbish to the green waste pile?
No. Household rubbish, soil, building waste and treated timber don't go in with the green waste. A mixed pile may not be taken.
Do you need to mow or trim as well?
No. Removal can be booked on its own when you already have a pile of green waste. If the pile came from a job you'd like us to do, book the work and the removal together.
